Linux, open source, technology, and strange creations.

This is my site. This is a place for my thoughts, my hopes, my dreams—so to speak. It centers around linology: my love for Linux, my love for open source software, and my passion for technology.

A love of Linux and open source software.

Many, many years ago

Linology is something I made up many years ago. It was supposed to be a combination of the word Linux and technology.

Many, many years ago, I developed a passion for Linux—just a love of Linux and open source software.

The origin

I understand what it takes. I just hate code.

The conundrum

I understood, and had a deep understanding of, technology, infrastructure, processes, and patterns.

To put it shortly, I understand all the things you need to build amazing, powerful, high-performance environments. I understand what needs to happen, how the code needs to be formatted, what structures you need, what reproducible processes you need, what dependencies should look like. I can do all of that.

But I absolutely hate code. Which always made it a conundrum for me, because I never run out of ideas, but I had no way to implement them.

The challenge

AI has unlocked something new for me.

The unlock

People can feel however they want to feel, but for someone like myself with decades of experience in production environments, AI has unlocked something new for me.

It’s the ultimate tool for someone like me that has never had a problem coming up with, designing, structuring, and managing ideas. I just personally hated the implementation of it.

What changed

This site is dedicated to those creations.

What comes next

With the introduction of AI, I now have the opportunity to bring to life all sorts of strange creations and ideas that would have never been possible before.

This is where the projects, experiments, screenshots, and everything else I’m up to will live.

For everyone else, welcome to my space.
